Today after Spring cleaning, the hubby began on the sanding of our first project while I am making dinner. It is coming along MUCH slower than I had hoped, but working 60 hour weeks leaves little left. But, it is slowly beginning. And that makes me excited!
This is my starting point (thanks to my amazing "new" table) and I am currently stripping everything from the walls and plant shelves above the cabinets in preparation for painting. I forgot to take a pic before I took down everything and made it look bare. :( So here is my currently empty kitchen... it will have to serve as my "before" pic
Here it is... my first furniture to distress/refinish. It is an amazing piece; 6 chairs, one bench, a large leaf, 100% solid wood, hand crafted, well made, and VERY heavy! I cannot wait to finish it and get it moved into the house and out of my garage. :)
